Fun in the Fast Lane!

Last Friday Joe took a sick day (he was actually sick with strep and a sinus infection). After sleeping all morning, he decided it would be fun to take a drive out to Toole to watch the race cars practice at the Miller Motorsports Park. The boys were in heaven! and I have to admit, I loved it myself! There is something about the loud rumble of those cars as they fly around each curve that makes me think it would be alot of fun to give it a try! (for some reason I don't think my mini van can give me the same feeling :). We walked around checking out the cars in the pit and watched a couple rounds of races. The kids thought it was a treat just to ride the shuttle train around the park. Since it was a practice, there weren't alot of crowds and we could relax and enjoy ourselves. I felt bad Joe was sick, but I'm sure glad he took a sick day! That's my Joe! Being fun even when he's sick
