Catching up to do!

I have a little catching up to do! I swear the last week of school is as busy as Christmas then BAM... my kids expect me to be the summer time cruise director with a stacked schedule of fun!

So here goes.....

Caleb graduated from preschool! It was the cutest thing! His whole class was boys so he had a ton of fun and his teacher had a run for her money! She was just sweating it! They did a whole little program of songs, sign language, and memorized poems (along with nose picking, punching each other, and some car sound effects). It was great! And we are so proud of this little guy! Caleb's teacher was constantly telling me how good he was in school. This came as a complete surprise to us :)! Actually he is an awesome kid! He is so easy to please and has such an upbeat attitude! Caleb can make anything fun and is (usually) a ton of fun to have around!
The picture at the top (still getting the hang of this blogging stuff) is of Jackson's field day. When I was a kid field day was all about races and long jumps and stuff. I was a super shy kid, but on field day I had fun beating the pants off my classmates in the races! I know I sound like the biggest loser bragging about myself when I was 7, but I was just kind of expecting that my kids would follow suit.
So after the family picnic, I asked Jacks what events he wanted to do. He looks at me like "what are you talking about... events". Then his face lights up and he says he's going to play in the bouncy house with his friends and that I can take Caleb and Ainsley home if I want. Nice!
When he got home he told me all about the bouncy house and the games he played with his friends. Just glad he had a good time :)! Love that kid!

Jackson's field say sounds like fun--but I agree with you it sure doesn't sound like field day!

They are the cutest kids. At least now it looks like it is going to stay warm so 'summer vacation' can really start!

Good Job Caleb! Thanks for letting my kids come over an play. It bites not being able to let them play in the yard. Next summer I will have my own yard!

Caleb's so cute! I love the picture of him and his teacher. Pretty soon all of your kids will be in school! I know you're happy about that! :)
