The Final Count Down!






School starts in 10 days! I'm torn between lazy summer days and the scheduled school routine, but either way it's coming. What I'll miss........


1. Praying at the rodeo :) and the cowboys :0


2. Playing in the barn at grandpa Dan's farm


3. Shave Ice with ice cream on the bottom! Yummy stuff!


4. Home made ice cream! our best was mint chip!!!


5. Fishing for tadpoles?


6. Splashing through the unsanitary fountains at our own risk!


7. Walking mountain trails with my hubby (way better than the cowboys at the rodeo :)!


8. boating (with Joe at the wheel :)


9. digging in the sand and the ring around the tub


10. otter pops for breakfast


11. pool crashing


12. slip and slide ghetto style


13. breakfast burritos with Bullwinkle


14. bologna sandwiches at Erin's


15. plip plops and trailer park shirts :)


16. SLEEPING IN!


17. weddings! and too much yummy wedding cake!!!


18. a house full of neighbor kids


19. barbecue on paper plates


20. and that one really expensive trip to 7 Peaks!

We NEVER went to the pool with you guys...summer went by way too fast.

I want otter pops for breakfast! You're the best mom EVER! I'm glad you had such a fun summer...enjoy this next week, can't wait to hear about it!

Otterpops for bkfast no wonder Brooklyn adores you :) I'm torn too about summer being over. I'm going to miss them when they head off for school but I'll savor the routine and quite time!

The best homemade ice cream we made was actually cinnamon. Yesterday I took my kids to the last scera summer movie. We paid for summer tickets and it was the only movie we made it to, was cheaper than your 7 peaks tickets, but still understand. And to celebrate my kids had popcorn and sprite for breakfast. Oh I love summer.

I am so sad summer is over, I'm ready for it to be starting. Though it will be nice to have kids in school again I'm totally going to miss things. i loved your list. (I can't get over the plip pops. I love it!)
