Catching up on Halloween

 

 

 

 

As usual I am a little behind on things :)! I can't believe Thanksgiving is almost here with Christmas just around the corner! I lost everything on my computer a few weeks ago (big huge pain) so these are just a few of the picts we actually took.
I love Halloween because it's just all about fun! And chocolate :)! We went to the Halloween thing at Thanksgiving Point, the Boo at the Zoo, a family party, and to Corn Belly's. I actually got to be a chaperon for Caleb's kindergarten class's field trip to Corn Belly's. I loved being able to spend some time with just him! His favorite part was the peddle cars and the pigs! They had a pig there that was bigger than a hippo! It was pretty impressive!
Anyways, I unfortunately missed the ward party because I had some dumb flu bug. But I did get my kids all done up and sent them off to the party with Joe. As if they didn't fill their bags that night with enough candy, we dressed them back up the next night for trick or treating. My whole family comes over on Halloween to pass out candy and take turns taking the kids around. It was a ton of fun, and great to have the help when I was feeling so cruddy! Thanks guys!!!Trick or treating was a success! They had a great time and brought home lots of treats! I guess the good thing about having the flu on Halloween is not even being tempted by the peanut butter cups :). My kids all ended up sick that week and the Halloween candy is still in the pantry. I think they forgot about it so I've been helping myself :)!
