Good Morning Birthday Girl!

I can't let this month go by without mentioning that Miss Ainsley had her 3rd birthday this month!!! This is her just opening her eyes, morning hair and all! She brought balance to our sweet family the day she was born! Of course I totally remember the day, what momma doesn't remember the birth of their babies! It was July 2nd, the day of the neighborhood 4th of July parade, and she wasn't due for a few weeks (the 17th to be exact) . I got up, got my boys bikes all decked out, layed out some red and blue duds for them to wear (couldn't leave that one to dad :), and drove myself down to the Timpanogas Hospital. Joe and I both knew something wasn't right. When I casually walked into the nurse's station and told them I was there to have my baby; they looked at me funny, looked behind me to see if someone was with me, then smiled and said they would check me out (to appease me and send me home ;). Sure enough, something was very wrong and they induced me immediately. Turned out the cord was wrapped around her neck twice! I called Joe and my sister Brooke. We were both so glad my sister showed up!! She is a labor and delivery nurse and happened to have the day off. The hospital was short staffed due to the holiday and the doctor even told us that if my sister Brooke didn't do the things she did we might have lost our little girl! Thanks Brooke for following your gut instincts, being in tune with the spirit, and just being there (like you always are)!
She has been a bit of a danger girl from day one (she has a thing with falling down the stairs)! She was really tiny, but ate constantly and grew quick! She is now the tallest 3 yr old I've ever seen :)! She is girly girl to the core and we all absolutely adore it! For her birthday she asked for a princess bike. I'm pretty sure every little girl in our neighborhood has the same bike, but thank to Aunt Brooke she is the only one with a super cool basket on the front of it! We had a family birthday party for her and she totally ate up all the attention! Have I ever mentioned that my family totally rocks!!
Anyways, it has been the sweetest three years and I just wish she would slow down with the growing up!
